I'm an amateur writer, working as a UX Consultant, father of three lovely kids, and a member of the Australian Greens party.
I've been a sci-fi fan all my life, but probably not as prolific a reader as I should be.
My ideas on Solarpunk have been gestating for many years, since I first read Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars trilogy say... 15 years ago? Of course, I've only recently started calling them Solarpunk, but I am excited by that term. Because it actually helped me to solidify, codify, and generate the story idea that this novel is (or is going to be).
I have no formally published prose work, by the way. Like I said: Amateur.
